HERBALISM: PART I


Welcoming Clinical Herbalist Erica Fraser for a two-part event that focuses on both the culinary and medicinal side of herbalism. These workshops are designed to be practical, you will leave with notes, photos, a customized infused vinegar, reliable information on printed handouts. We will also be eating and drinking interesting wild edibles throughout the whole event!

  • Gather in the beautiful gardens behind the Indian Brook Fire Hall to try a snack, pick your tasting mug for the day and have a beverage. We will chat about some of the plants while making introductions.

  • We will deep dive into preservation methods, important tools and items for your foraging or herbalism journey to flourish.

  • Customize your own infused vinegar with herbs and medicinal plants of your choosing.

  • Learn how to make an oxymel. Learn the difference between hot and cold brews, how to make syrups, and let us get real nerdy about brewing beautiful beverages with florals and wild plants.

  • Food and beverages that showcase edible plants, or perhaps nibbling on the plants themselves! We will be eating throughout the event, as well as sampling beverages.

when purchased in conjunction with the part ii: medicinal event, both tickets together are $165 (saves $15)
