ICED Chaga Chai Latte
This drink was prepared by brewing several small chunks of chaga for about 45 minutes at a simmer. Deeper boiling can extract different nutrients than just a gentle simmer, but I was looking to simmer to taste for this recipe.
I separately made a strong chai tea which was allowed to cool, and added it to the chaga tea, along with some vanilla extract and maple syrup to taste.
Vigorously shaken oat milk (or any milk of your choice) added to this mixture on ice and stirred. There is nutritional value, some caffeine from the chai, and a smooth, creamy taste.
