Join us in Aylesford, Nova Scotia on the last day of summer / the Autumnal Equinox. We are saving and savoring the last bits of summer by learning how to preserve our favorite florals for culinary purposes and art.
We will be sipping floral mocktails while we talk about the methods used to make them. Each participant will be given a handmade flower press to learn how to successfully press plants of all kinds, while filling it up with the last of the summer flowers.
Chef Fiona Lewis will be serving us a full menu of courses focused on foraged ingredients and ferments while we press, sip and chat.
